Remote Repair
Our remote repair service allows us to remotely examine your computer with out having to visit you at your home or office.
We aim to examine your computer at the most convenient time for you. This means that you don't have to stay in all day waiting for the technician to turn up when you could be at work or out enjoying your free time.
The system that we use if fully encrypted. This means that all of the data that is passed between your computer and the technicians computer is secure.
When you request the remote repair service you will be asked to download a small application which will install on your computer and then give you a number. Once you have got this number the technician will enter it in to our system and a connection will be created between the computers. This allows the technician to view your desktop and if necessary take control of your computer.
It all seems a bit scary when you allow somebody else to take control of your computer and you see your mouse moving around the screen but are not able to see them. This is why we have ensured that everything is secure and that nobody else will be able to access your computer. If at any time you decide you do not want the technician to continue you can simply press a button and the connection will be closed.
